I came in with friends, place with spotless a friendly atmosphere. It was nice to have music playing in the background, not too loud when talking. I’m shocked myself, but I’ve not been here before because the food was out of this world. Everything that I had was fresh, tasty and gorgeous.

My whole family loves it here including my dad who’s hard to please! The food is by far the best of any cafe around Shirley, as it’s all home made, no processed rubbish! The prices are also better than anywhere else. Home made food for less than the price of a pre packaged sandwich? No brainer. The baker is absolutely amazing, so talented!- Service

I ordered a biscoff sundae and the young lady, who has served me twice for this is so friendly. She serves the ice cream beautifully and you get a proper portion of ice cream and toppings. If I am paying £6 I like to have a good volume of both ice cream and toppings and she does this perfectly! I must get her name next time.

What a find! Incongruous place which was fabulous. We only had sourdough toast-thickly cut and richly buttered, accompanied by tea. Next time I'll be trying some of the breakfasts on offer. Atmosphere very buzzy, plenty of takeaway customers. Easy to park. Plenty of tables. Lovely chatty pleasant staff.

Their sandwiches are so tasty and the service is exemplary. A very small mix up in orders (we tend to order multiple sandwiches at once in the office so not an easy task) led to completely above and beyond service to rectify. I couldn't recommend this shop more! I really urge you to give them a try as you won't be disappointed!

Visited today for Brunch , after a walk around my neighborhood. Nice to have such a great place so near. Brilliant Croque Monsieur & large Cappuccino. Friendly and efficient service . I'll be back .

Amazing food and drink. Really nice atmosphere inside and friendly, helpful staff. Huge selection of cakes. Everything was reasonably priced. Looking forward to coming back, would highly recommend.
We asked Smithtons to cater for a local corporate breakfast event. Super professional, easy to arrange, great price and most importantly the attendees highly rated the food! Especially the bacon cobs. Thank you - highly recommend!

I've ridden past Smithtons Food Market frequently. When passing by I've thought, "There's that butchers. Looks fancy. I should pop in one day." That day came. I popped in and my jaw dropped. What surprised me was how much is packed in to this well thought out tour-d-force artisanal eatery:
1. Baked Goods - Breads, Cakes, Pastries, Sandwiches.
2. Deli - Cooked Meats, Cheeses, Antipasto.
3. Convenience Foods - Fruit, Veg, Milk, Eggs & Artisan goods.
This is not a convenience store. Stock selection is thoughtful: local, independent, suiting various dietary requirements.
The biggest surprise? Go and take a look out back. There is a comfortable, contemporary cafe complimented by a more extensive covered outdoor seating area.
The staff described the breakfast doorstop ciabatta to me... I'm heading back to sample it and more!Opening hours
